Why can’t my student see any classes?

Have you ever had a student show up to sign in only to find that they can’t see any classes? In this article we’ll take a look at what allows and prevents students from logging in to classes.

Whether or not a student has any class options is dependent on a couple of things. The first factor is the student’s status. A student’s status must be set to Active or Waiver to have any class options, another status will not allow them to sign in. Here is where you can set a student’s status in their record:

 

 

The other key to a student being able to log in to classes is that they are part of a Program that has “Classes” tied to it. If a student is not part of a Program, or the Program(s) that they are assigned to don’t have any assigned Classes then nothing will show. To set a student’s Program go to the Programs tab in their record:
