Hey everyone, what a busy week it’s been!
Last week we outlined some of the new help features we have in place. We’ve had a lot of great feedback and questions come in via the new support ticketing system, and it’s been awesome. Remember, moving forward, that is the best way to get in touch with one of our support personnel.
Today, I’d like to talk about some of the new hardware and software changes we’ve made to the myBJJ/myDOJO system, as well as discuss some of the upcoming features we are excited about.
Hardware Upgrades
Last Sunday night you might have noticed a short downtime about an hour long. This was to upgrade our database server! The new server will let us keep expanding as rapidly as we have been, while also giving us the option to add more complicated features without reducing performance. We’ve also been expanding our web cluster to provide 100% uptime.
New Features
We have added several new features and tweaks over the last few weeks, and I’d like to highlight some of them now.
Contract Listings
We’ve added two new contract listings to help you manage your automated payments. The first is a “contract readiness” view. Here you can see which contracts are active and renewing automatically, and even which ones are ready to be billed.
Another new contract list we’ve added is an “upcoming billings” list which lets you quickly see on what days you can expect to see automated payments come in and from whom.
Programs View
We’ve also added a new list view for showing which students are in which programs. You can quickly modify program assignments for multiple students, all from one view.
Payment Accounts
We’ve adjusted how payment accounts are handled child/parent records. Now, when you add a credit card or bank account to a parent record, the child record also gets access to that account. Now, you can make sales to a child record using the parent record’s payment account.
Inventory Reports
There are new reports available for your viewing pleasure.
These can be accessed via the Billing & Sales menu dropdown, seen below.
We’ve got several for you to use, and each one can be fine tuned to specific date ranges. They are also all available as printable PDFs!

Upcoming Changes
We have several new features in the pipeline, and we can’t wait to tell you more about them as we get closer to their release. These include:
